Character Sketch:
Shahid Kapoor plays the role of Amit: He is a usual rich guy, who smokes, drinks and flirts with gay abandon. He takes life and affairs of the heart lightly. And by the time he realizes he actually loves Priya, it’s too late. She is left him and their love to the vagaries of destiny.

Kareena Kapoor plays the role of Priya: She is a die hard romantic who believes that destiny and only destiny will lead her to her true love. She meets Amit and falls in love thinking its destiny. But then she realizes otherwise and is heart broken. She turns her back on love. Will she pay the price for turning her back on destiny?

Satish Shah is Amit’s father: He dotes on his son, and takes pride in the fact that Amit doesn’t drink or smoke. Little does he know the certainty of both of them.

Kirron Kher is Sunita Rao: She is a famous tarot card reader whose predictions rarely fail. Then why would Priya be an exception?

Preveiw of the film MILENGE MILENGE:
In this movie, Kareena Kapoor plays a role of Priya who is blindly believed in love. Throughout the movie she wants find her Prince Charming and live happily ever after. When a tarot card reader (Kirron Kher) tells her that she will find him on exact day, wearing particular clothes, Priya is over the moon. She flies off to attend a Youth Festival in Bangkok. Here she meets Amit (Shahid Kapoor) on that specific day, wearing specific clothes. The attraction is instant. And she is sure that he is the guy for her.

But when the festival comes to an end so does her love story. Amit, attempts to encourage her back by telling her that they are destined to be together. Priya replied angrily that if it is indeed destiny, then they will find each other again, even if all they know of the other is the name!

Three years later Priya and Amit are engaged to marry different people, but no one is happy. Priya has this horrible nagging feeling that Amit was indeed her one true love. Amit too feels the same about her.

Will destiny play Cupid again and conspire to bring them back together? Or will destiny take her revenge for being thwarted?

Review of MILENGE MILENGE
MILENGE MILENGE, a romantic popcorn entertainer finally makes its way to the theatres. It is been ages that this flick was in news for all good and bad reasons. This movie is fuelled by the hot chemistry of once off-screen pair Shahid-Kareena. Going by the musical records, all Shahid-Kareena entertainers FIDA (2004), 36 CHINA TOWN (2006) and JAB WE MET (2007) had been blazing chartbusting success in the past and so expectations are likely to be soaring high. To grab the listener’s attention, the album has both style of Himesh’s composing that made him maverick-cum-icon in the marquee. It would be interesting to view the performance of this Shahid-Kareena starrer, as all their previous entertainer were big rage among listeners. So let’s get started for a lively romantic musical show…
